اول برای اینکه مقاله ای را در اینجا بگذارم بهتر است یک شمای کلی از روش دکتر زامبونی داشته باشید .
تحقیقات قبلی از ازدیاد آهن در مغز بیماران مبتلا به ام اس حکایت داشت اما هیچ کس نتوانسته بود این ازدیاد را توجیه کند . دکتر زامبونی با مشاهده همسر خود که دچار ام اس است و تحقیقاتی که بر روی دیگر بیماران ام اس مشاهده کرد که رگ های مغزی دچار یک گرفتگی هستند که در اکثر موارد آن رگی دچار انسداد وریدی است که خون را از مغز به قلب انتقال می دهد . دکتر زامبونی برای تحقیقات بیشتر ، دیگر بیماران نورولوژیکی را مورد مطالعه قرار داد و مشاهده کرد هیچ کدام از این بیماران دچار انسداد نیستند .
تحقیقات دیگران روی بیماران مبتلا به ام-اس نشان داده بود که میزان آهن مغز بیماران مبتلا به ام-اس بدون ارتباط با سن بیمار، بیش از نرمال است ولی کسی موفق نشده بود که توضیح دهد چرا و چگونه آهن اضافی در مغز بیمار مبتلا به ام-اس ایجاد می‌شود. دکتر زامبونی به این فکر افتاد که شاید آهن اضافی نتیجه جمع شدن اضافی خون در مغز باشد.
در نتیجه دکتر زامبونی به همراه دکتر گالوتی بر روی 65 بیمار مبتلا روش آنژیوپلاستی را انجام دادند که در این بیماران علائم بیماری به شدت کاهش یافت .
در حال حاضر در بسیاری از نقاط جهان سعی بر تست این قضیه دارند و دکتر زامبونی در سمیناری که در اواخر سال 2009 در کانادا برگزار شد از سراسر جهان خواست روش او را مورد مطالعه قرار دهند و در این حرکت جهانی شریک باشند

یکی از مهمترین مشکلات در تخصیص بودجه های دولتی در بسیاری کشورهای دنیا برای تحقیقات در این زمینه شرکت های دارویی هستند که منافع بسیار زیادی رو از دست می دهند .
در ضمن وقتی یک فکر جدید وجود داشته باشه خیلی از افراد ابتدا مخالفت می کنند مثلا همین پزشکان ما کاملا مخالفند و حتی حاضر نمی شوند یک تست انجام دهند

مي دوني كه تو رشت سه تا دكتر حاذق در زمينه ي ام اس بيشتر نداريم.
كه هر سه تاشونم مخالفن چون نونشون بريده ميشه!!(شايد تلخ باشه اما حقيقته)
همه با هم بايد كمك كنيم تا راهي پيدا كنيم ، و فقط به يه سوال اكتفا نكنيم
و منتظر كسي نمونيم .
قرار نيست كه هميشه انديشه هاي بزرگ از آدماي بزرگ سر بزنه و همه ي كاراي بزرگ رو آدماي بزرگ انجام بدن. حالا كه جرقه تو سر يكي خورده بايد دنبالش باشيم

بعد از جلسات متعدد ... برو بیا ... توضیح بده ... فیلم نگا کن ... پرینت بزن ... ترجمه کن ... این دکتر با اون دکتر ... و هزار تا اعمال شاقه
...........
دوشنبه قراره تقریبا ۵ نفر .... انواع آزمایشات سونوگرافی و داپلر برای تست گرفتگی یا تنگی عروق توی بیمارستان امام رضای تبریز انجام بدن که یکیشون هم خود من هستم
