اختصاصی ام.اس لینک - ترجمه از خانم دنیز - ساینس دیلی 8 دسامبر 2010 - به گزارش محققان دانشگاه منچستر خوردن میوه های بنفش مانند زغال اخته و نوشیدن چای سبز می تواند به دور کردن بیماری هایی چون آلزایمر ، ام.اس و پارکینسون کمک کند.
تحقیقات جدید از پروفسور داگلاس کل منتشر شده در آرشیو مجله سم شناسی ، نشان داده است که علت اکثربیماری های ناتوان کننده در بخشی است که سبب فقر در لیگند آهن بدن می شود وهمین باعث تولید سموم خطرناک می شود که می تواند تمام اجزا زندگی را تحت تاثیر قراردهد. (لیگند مهمترین عامل در تشکیل کمپلکس می‌باشد. نوع لیگند ، اندازه لیگند و تعداد لیگند در پایداری کمپلکس‌ها تأثیر فراوان دارد.)
این مواد سمی رادیکال های هیدروکسیل نام دارد و سبب بیماری دژنراتیو( تخریب تدریجی سلولهای عصبی ) در نقاط مختلف بدن است.
به منظور حفاظت از بدن دربرابر این اختلال خطرناک ، بسیار مهم است که به تغذیه توجه لازم مبذول گردد و علم به این موضوع که کلاتور آهن ، می تواند به رفع این مشکل کمک کند
میوه ها ی روشن رنگ و سبزیجات منابع بسیار خوبی از کلاتورها هستند ، به عنوان مثال چای سبز ، با میوه های بنفش به عنوان بهترین منابع در متعادل نمودن آهن هستند.
. این مقاله جدید اولین باراست که رابطه بین بسیاری از بیمار ها و اختلال در آهن بدن را برملا می سازد و سرنخ مهمی بدست می دهد درمورد چگونگی جلوگیری از آنها و یا حداقل کم کردن سرعت آن.
استدلال پروفسور کل بدین معنی است که که کمبود لیگند آهن در شروع بیماری های ناتوان کننده و سرعت آن نشان می دهد آن در مناطقی رایج است که در آن تفکر سنتی، ضعیف است و می تواند خطرناک باشد.
به عنوان مثال ،تصور میرود ویتامین ث سود زیادی برای توانایی بدن در دفاع از خود در برابر سموم و بیماری ها داشته باشد. با این حال پروفسور Kell ، استاد علوم بیو آنالیز در دانشگاه منچستر نشان می دهد که ویتامین سی بیش از حد می تواند در واقع دارای اثر عکس در نظر گرفته شده ،اگر آهن آنلیگند باشد.
تنها زمانی که آهن متعادل و مناسب ("چلاتد ") باشد ویتامین سی به طور موثر کار خواهد کرد(چلاتد یعنی قابل جذب کامل)
زیست شناسی نوین بخش عمده ای از بیماری های مختلف انسان رابه نقش ژن ها مربوط دانسته است.
واین اغراق آمیز است چون "اهمیت آهن ممکن است نادیده گرفته شود زیرا هیچ ژن مربوط به آهن وجودندارد. چیزی که من در این کار مشخص کرده ام منطقه بسیار حیاتی است برای رسیدگی بیشتر ، همانطور که بسیاری از پیش بینی های ساده تحلیل من را دنبال می کند
