عضو هیات رئیسه کمیسیون بهداشت و درمان مجلس، با انتقاد از هزینه‌های سنگین تهیه داروهای متوقف کننده بیماری ام اس، گفت: دولت برای حمایت از بیماران ام اسی باید سیاست‌های بیمه‌ای صحیح را در دستور کار خود قرار دهد.

احمد آریایی‌نژاد، در مورد افزایش آمار ابتلا به بیماری ام اس در کشور، تصریح کرد: ام اس از جمله بیماری‌های کمتر شناخته شده‌ای در جوامع امروزی است که دستیابی به راهکار‌های درمان قطعی آن نیازمند پژوهش‌های بیشتر در حوزه پزشکی است.

نماینده مردم ملایر در مجلس شورای اسلامی، در تشریح روند ابتلا به بیماری ام اس در افراد، افزود: ام اس مراحل مختلفی دارد که مرحله اول آن مرحله عودکننده - فروکش‌کننده، مرحله دوم مرحله پیش‌رونده اولیه و مرحله آخر این بیماری مرحله پیش‌رونده عود کننده است.

آریایی‌نژاد، ادامه داد: علایم این بیماری متنوع و در افراد مختلف متفاوت است و در هر حمله جدید می‌تواند علایم جدیدی از بیماری ظاهر شود.

وی با تأکید بر لزوم ارائه آموزش‌های لازم به افراد برای پیشگیری از بیماری ام اس، تصریح کرد: با وجود اینکه عوامل قطعی اثرگذار بر ابتلای افراد به ام اس، همچنان به صورت کامل شناخته شده نیست، اما توجه به سبک زندگی و کمتر در معرض تنش‌های عصبی قرار گرفتن، می‌تواند پیامد‌های منفی بیماری ام اس را کاهش دهد.

آریایی‌نژاد افزود: توجه و آگاهی بخشی در مورد شیوع بیماری ام اس امری مهم و ضروری است اما این اقدام نباید بیش از اندازه باشد چرا که تأکید بیش از اندازه بر یک بیماری می‌تواند در جامعه نوعی ترس از بیماری را به همراه آورد و آرامش روانی افراد را بر هم زند.

این نماینده مردم در مجلس نهم، با تأکید بر گران بودن داروهای متوقف کننده بیماری ام اس، افزود: متأسفانه داروهای متوقف کننده بیماری ام اس هم اکنون بسیار گران و تهیه آنان برای بیماران مبتلا بسیار سخت شده است به طوریکه برخی بیماران کم‌درآمد و آسیب‌پذیر عطای درمان را به لقای آن بخشیده‌اند.

عضو هیات رئیسه کمیسیون بهداشت ودرمان مجلس شورای اسلامی، یادآور شد: دولت باید برای حمایت از بیماران ام اسی بسته‌های حمایتی و سیاست‌های بیمه‌ای صحیح را در دستور کار خود قرار دهد.
