به پشت روی زمین بخوابید و پاها را در کنار هم قرار دهید.
دستها را به خارج و هم سطح شانه ها بیرون بکشید. کف دستها پایین. پای راست را از زانو خم کنید و کف پا را پهلوی کاسه زانوی پای چپ بگذارید. دست چپ روی زانوی راست. این وضعیت شروع است.
آهسته زانوی پای راست را پایین بیاورید به سمت زمین و در سمت چپ بدن.
زانوی خم شده و پا را در برخورد با زانوی چپ حفظ کنید.
سر را به سمت راست برگردانید و به بازوی دست راست نگاه کنید، و به انگشت میانی دست راست خیره شوید.
دست چپ باید روی زانوی راست باشد و بازو و شانه باید در تماس با زمین باقی بمانند. در پایان تمرین، سر باید در جهت مخالف برگشته، به طرف زانوی پیچ خورده باشد و ساق پای دیگر کاملا راست باشد.
وضعیت را تا زمانی که احساس راحتی می کنید حفظ کنید.
بعد به حالت شروع برگردید. سر و زانو را به مرکز برگردانید.
بازوی راست را به خارج بکشید و تمرین را با ساق پای راست انجام دهید.
تمرین را در جهت مخالف تکرار کنید.
تمرین را با زمان دلخواه شروع و تمام کنید.
تنفس: دم، هنگام موقعیت کشش و بازدم، موقعی که زانوها به زمین فشار می آورند و سر برمی گردد و در پایان تمرین تنفس عمیق و آهسته.
آگاهی: فیزیکی – روی تنفس یا وانهادگی پشت.
تذکر: این آسانا باید بعد از خم شدن به جلو و عقب انجام شود.
این آسانا برای اصلاح مفاصل تهیگاه ناشی از نشستن زیاد روی صندلی مفید است. اگر تمرین دردآور شد باید متوقف گردد.
فایده: انقباض و خستگی را مرتفع می کند، به ویژه در سطوح پایین. اندامهای شکمی و لگنی در حین تمرین، ماساژ داده می شوند.
