مصرف خودسرانه هورمون رشد بسیار خطرناک است

استاد دانشگاه علوم پزشکی دانشگاه تهران گفت: مصرف هورمون رشد زیرنظر پزشک متخصص برای افرادی که با کمبود این هورمون مواجهند ، ضروری و حیاتی ولی مصرف خودسرانه آن بسیار خطرناک است .

ˈمریم رزاقی آذرˈ روز دوشنبه در گفت و گو با خبرنگار علمی ایرنا یادآور شد : مصرف نابجای هورمون رشد و همچنین مصرف آن ازسوی ورزشکاران بسیار خطرناک است . زیرا در صورتی که این هورمون به صورت خودسرانه و بدون نظر پزشک حتی در افرادی که به آن نیاز دارند، ‌مصرف شود، می تواند مشکلات زیادی را برای فرد به وجود آورد.

وی اظهار داشت: افرادی مانند ورزشکاران که در این مورد کمبودی ندارند،‌ در صورت مصرف این هورمون دچار عوارض جبران ناپذیری می شوند.

این فوق تخصص غدد درون ریز و متابولیسم کودکان گفت: هورمون رشد نه تنها برای افزایش قد در کودکان تجویز می شود بلکه برای سوخت و ساز بدن لازم است و افرادی که سوخت و ساز بدن آنها دچار مشکل است،‌ باید این هورمون را حتما با نظر پزشک مصرف کنند.

رزاقی آذر افزود : این گونه افراد که با کمبود ترشح هورمون رشد مواجهند نه تنها در زمان رشد بلکه پس از اتمام این دوره تا آخر عمر نیز باید این هورمون را برای تنظیم سوخت و ساز بدن خود مصرف کنند؛ با این تفاوت که در زمان رشد بیشتر و در دوره پایان رشد مقدار مصرف آن کمتر می شود.

وی گفت: تزریق هورمون رشد زمان خاصی ندارد؛ به عنوان نمونه نوزادان دارای تشنج که قند خونشان پایین باشد، پزشک معالج برای آنها تزریق هورمون رشد را تجویز می کند.

رزاقی آذر افزود: گاهی منحنی رشد برخی کودکان از سن یک سالگی، به جای بالارفتن ، پایین می آید و رشد قدی با کندی در کودکان انجام می شود ، در این صورت نیز تزریق هورمون رشد برای کودکان تجویز می شود.

این فوق تخصص غدد درون ریز و متابولیسم کودکان خاطرنشان کرد که هورمون رشد فقط تزریقی است و نمونه های خوراکی ندارد.در افرادی که به بلوغ رسیده اند، تزریق هورمون رشد برای افزایش و بلندی قد تاثیری ندارد چراکه زمان رشد آنها به پایان رسیده است.

هورمون رشد یا سوماتوتروپین هورمونی است که از بخش قدامی غده هیپوفیز آزاد می‌شود و ساختمانی پروتئینی دارد.

این هورمون موجب افزایش رشد استخوانی در صفحات رشد می‌شود. هورمون رشد در متابولیسم کربوهیدرات ها و چربی ها در بدن نقش دارد . این هورمون مقدار مصرف گلوکز سلول های بدن را کاهش می‌دهد و به جای آن چربی ها را به گلوکز تبدیل می‌کند.
