انگشت نگاری ژنتیکی (Genetic finger printing) چیست ؟
استفاده از اطلاعات ژنتیکی موجود در یک سلول و پی بردن به هویت ژنتیکی آن در واقع نوعی انگشت نگاری از دی ان ای یا “DNA finger printing” است.

به گزارش خبرنگار سایت پزشکان بدون مرز ، این روش کارایی های مختلفی در زندگی بشر دارد که یکی از مهمترین کاربردهای آن شناسایی قربانیان حوادث مختلف از جمله سقوط هواپیما، آتش سوزی ها و تصادفات شدید است.

تکنیک انگشت نگاری ژنتیکی در سال ۱۹۸۵ برای اولین بار توسط پروفسور سر آلک جفری از دانشگاه لستر انگلستان ابداع شد.

وی متوجه شد نواحی و نقاطی روی DNA افراد وجود دارد که می توانند کلیه اطلاعات بیولوژیکی و حیاتی انسانها را انتقال دهند.

با اینکه ۹۹/۹درصد دی‌ان‌ای انسان‌ها‌ با هم یکی است و هیچ تفاوتی ندارد، اما همان ۰/۰۱درصد برای اینکه تفاوت میان ۲ نفر آشکار شود کافی است.

این ۰/۰۱درصد نه‌تنها ۲ نفر را از هم متفاوت می‌کند، که همین افراد را از تمامی ساکنان دیگر کره زمین متفاوت می‌سازد.

استفاده از این روش در بسیاری از کشورها برای تهیه بانک اطلاعاتی افراد هم بسیار رایج است و در بسیاری از کشورها، ‌بانک‌های اطلاعاتی افراد با استناد به یگانگی اثر انگشت دی‌ان‌ای آنها تهیه شده است.

پروسه ثبت اثر انگشت دی‌ان‌ای با یک نمونه اولیه و ساده از دی‌ان‌ای انسان که به آن دی‌ان‌ای مرجع گفته می‌شود، شروع می‌شود. این دی‌ان‌ای از سلول‌های بدن انسان، اعم از پوست، مو، استخوان یا ارگان‌های دیگر مولکول‌های دی‌ان‌ای فرد استخراج می‌شود. این نمونه سپس مورد تحلیل قرار می‌گیرد تا پروفایل دی‌ان‌ای آن مشخص شود.

برای این کار روش‌های متفاوت و بسیار زیادی وجود دارد. این پروفایل سپس با دیگر پروفایل‌های دی‌ان‌ای مقایسه می‌شود.

این روش‌ها اما همگی بر همان ۰/۰۱ درصدی که گفته شد میان ساختار‌های دی‌ان‌ای افراد با هم تفاوت دارد، متمرکز هستند. این نواحی از دی‌ان‌ای در افراد مختلف متفاوت است و از ۳ میلیارد جزء تشکیل شده که پشت سر هم قرار دارند. از کل این جزءها حدود ۵/۱ تا ۲ درصد ژن‌ها هستند.

با توجه به خواص منحصربه‌فرد دی‌ان‌‌ای و اینکه شناسایی افراد با استفاده از آنها بسیار ساده و تقریبا در تمامی موارد امکان‌پذیر است، کارشناسان در سراسر جهان تاکید دارند گسترش بانک‌های اطلاعاتی دی‌ان‌ای یکی از ضرورت‌های دنیای مدرن است.

این بانک‌ها در برخی کشورها راه‌اندازی شده است و برخی کشورها هم درصدد راه‌اندازی آنها هستند. بزرگ‌ترین بانک اطلاعاتی دی‌ان‌ای در جهان متعلق به آمریکاست که در آن بیش از ۵ میلیون پروفایل دی‌ان‌ای ثبت شده است. پس از این کشور هم انگلیس دومین بانک اطلاعاتی بزرگ دی‌ان‌ای جهان را در اختیار دارد.
