اورولوژیست‌های مركز پزشكی دانشگاه لویولا هشدار داده‌اند كه چای سرد با داشتن غلظت‌های بالای اگزالات می‌تواند منجر به بروز سنگ كلیه در افراد شود.

نتایج به دست آمده از این گزارش حاكی از آن است كه مهم‌ترین عامل رایج ایجاد سنگ‌های كلیه، دهیدراسیون بدن همراه با افزایش مصرف چای سرد است به ویژه در كسانی كه استعداد ساختن این سنگ‌ها در بدنشان زیاد است.براساس این گزارش محققان افزودند: برای فرونشاندن عطش، آب بهترین انتخاب است و بعد از آن لیموناد واقعی (نه پودری) با داشتن سیترات‌های بسیار، در جلوگیری از رشد سنگ‌های كلیوی مؤثر است.

به گزارش سلامت نیوز به نقل از پایگاه اطلاع رسانی وزارت بهداشت ؛ نتایج حاصل از این گزارش همچنین می‌افزاید كه اگرچه چای داغ هم حاوی اگزالات است ولی به سادگی به سنگ كلیه تبدیل نمی‌شود.از طرفی نتایج دیگر این مطالعه افزود: مردان 4 برابر زنان بیشتر در معرض ایجاد سنگ كلیه در بدنشان قرار می‌گیرند و خطر ریسك بروز این سنگ‌ها در آنان بعد از 40 سالگی بیشتر می‌شود و همچنین زنان یائسه كه سطوح استروژن در بدن آنها كمتر است و یا زنانی كه تخمدان آنها از بدنشان حذف گردیده است در معرض خطر بیشتری هستند.

به گفته محققان افرادی كه بدن آنها مستعد ساخت سنگ كلیه است علاوه بر نوشیدن كمتر چای سرد باید خوردن غذاهای حاوی اگزالات مانند اسفناج و شكلات و ریواس و آجیل را در خود كاهش دهند و نیز از نمك كمتری استفاده كنند و همچنین مواد غذایی با مقادیر بالای كلسیم را بیشتر مصرف كنند تا مقدار اگزالات را در بدن خود كاهش دهند.

پژوهشگران اعلام کردند مصرف چای سرد (آیس تی) خطر ابتلا به سنگ کلیه را افزایش می دهد.

به گزارش واحد مرکزی خبر به گفته دکتر جان میلنر استادیار بخش اورولوژی دانشکده پزشکی دانشگاه لویولا در شیکاگو، آیس تی که یکی از نوشیدنی های محبوب در تابستان محسوب می شود، حاوی مقادیری ترکیبات شیمیایی اکسالات است و مصرف این ماده منجر به تشکیل کریستال های کوچک متشکل از نمک و مواد معدنی در ادرار می شود.

به گفته پژوهشگران، این کریستال ها عموما بی خطر هستند، اما احتمال بزرگ شدن و رسوب آنها در مجاری ادراری وجود دارد.

میلنر افزود: «برای اشخاصی که سابقه سنگ کلیه دارند و یا کلیه آنها سنگ ساز است، آیس تی بدترین نوشیدنی است. بسیاری از اشخاص آیس تی را انتخاب می کنند چون کالری زیادی ندارد و طعم خوشایندتری نسبت به آب دارد؛ اما اگر احتمال سنگ کلیه را در نظر بگیریم، این نوشیدنی چندان هم مناسب نیست.»

به گفته پژوهشگران، مردان چهار برابر بیشتر از زنان در خطر ابتلا به سنگ کلیه هستند و این خطر پس از سن چهل سالگی به مراتب افزایش می یابد. پژوهشگران در ادامه توصیه کردند برای جلوگیری از ابتلا به سنگ کلیه، افراد به دفعات آب بنوشند.

میلنر در این خصوص گفت آب بهترین نوشیدنی برای رفع تشنگی است، اما افراد می توانند شربت آبلیمو را نیز به عنوان گزینه ای مناسب در نظر گیرند. وی افزود شربت آبلیمو سرشار از سیتراتها است که از رشد سنگ در کلیه جلوگیری می کنند.

پایگاه اینترنتی «هلث-دی نیوز» به نقل از میلنر و همکارانش توصیه کرد افرادی که کلیه آنها سنگ ساز است از خوردن مواد غذایی حاوی اکسالاتها همچون اسفناج، شکلات، ریواس و دانه های آجیلی خودداری و گوشت کمتر مصرف کنند، میزان مصرف نمک را کاهش دهند و کلسیم کافی به بدن خود برسانند.
