داروی خوراکی جدیدی برای درمان ام اس با نام ONO - 4641 به تازگی فاز 2 را با موفقیت پشت سر گذاشت.
این دارو که بر روی 407 نفر آزمایش شده است تا 92% از میزان ضایعات و حملات کاسته است و آماده است وارد فاز 3 شود که تا چند سال دیگه طول می کشد تا تائیدیه FDA را بگیرد اما از همین الان می توان ورود آن را به جمع داروهای خوراکی موثر آینده تبریک گفت.

ساخت آزمایشی قرصی که تعداد ضایعات MS را کاهش می دهد

داروی تحقیقاتی خوراکی به نام « ONO-4641» موجب کاهش تعداد ضایعات در افراد مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس (MS) شد. قرار است از این یافته جدید که در مرحله دوم کارآزمایی بالینی به دست آمده، در شصت و چهارمین نشست سالانه مغز و اعصاب در نیواورلئان که از 21 تا 28 آوریل 2012 به میزبانی آکادمی آمریکا برگزار می گردد، رونمایی شود.

در این پژوهش، به 407 نفر افراد مبتلا به MS از نوع عود کننده که بین 18 تا 55 سال سن داشتند، به صورت تصادفی به میزان 0.05 میلی گرم، 0.10 میلی گرم، یا 0.15 میلی گرم از دارونمای « ONO-4641» یک بار در روز به مدت 26 هفته داده شد. کسانی در این پژوهش مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند که در دو سال پیش از پژوهش، حداقل دو بار شاهد بازگشت این بیماری بوده اند: کسانی که حداقل یک بار در سال منتهی به این پژوهش دچار بازگشت این بیماری بوده اند و یا افرادی که حداقل یک ضایعه مغزی مربوط به MS که به ضایعات پیشرونده GD نیز شناخته می شوند، در سه ماه قبل از این پژوهش در MRI آنان تشخیص داده شده باشد. اسکن های مغزی هر چهار هفته بین 10 تا 26 هفته انجام شدند.

در پایان این مطالعه، کسانی که به میزان 0.05، 0.10، یا 0.15 میلی گرم از «ONO -4641» دریافت کرده بودند، به ترتیب به میزان 82 ، 92 و 77 درصد کمتر دچار پلاک های مغزی GD شدند.

عوارض جانبی مرتبط با میزان مصرف این دارو عبارتند از: اختلالات قلبی عروقی مانند کندی ضربان قلب، تغییرات فشار خون و بلوک AV (اختلال در انتقال خون بین دهلیز و بطن های قلب). سایر عوارض جانبی شامل آنزیم های کبدی است. علاوه بر این، درجه چهار لنفوپنی، که سطح کاهش غیر طبیعی لنفوسیت در خون است، در چهار درصد از افرادی که 0.15 میلی گرم و در یک درصد از کسانی که 0.10 میلی گرم «ONO-4641» دریافت کرده اند، دیده شده است.

به گفته «تیموتی ولمر» (Timothy Vollmer)، سرپرست این مطالعه از دانشگاه کلرادو در دنور و عضو آکادمی نورولوژی آمریکا، با توجه به مسائل اخیر در بازار داروهای خوراکی MS، این خبری خوشایند است.
