مواد آرايشي، رشد سيستم عصبي را مختل مي‌كنند

براساس تحقيقات تازه دانشمندان، مواد شيميايي موجود در لوازم آرايشي حتي به ميزان بسيار اندك، باعث توقف رشد سيستم عصبي مي‌شود.

به گزارش ايسنا، دانشمندان، مقامات بهداشتي و توليد كنندگان به اين نكته واقف هستند كه برخي مواد شيميايي موجود در محصولات مختلف به ويژه لوازم آرايشي براي انسان ها و حيوانات بسيار خطرناك است.

در صنايع توليد لوازم آرايشي، وجود مواد نگهدارنده در غلظت كمتر از ۱۰۰ واحد در ميليون مجاز اعلام شده است. با اين حال تحقيقات صورت گرفته در دانشگاه براون بر روي بچه قورباغه ها نشان دادند حتي غلظت بسيار پايين اين مواد شيميايي نيز مي تواند مانع از رشد سيستم عصبي آنها مي شود.

در اين تحقيق مشخص شد ۱۰ روز قرار گرفتن در معرض اين مواد حتي با غلظت ۱.۵ واحد در ميليون (ppm) بر رشد سيستم عصبي بچه قورباغه تأثير منفي مي گذارد.

كارلوس آيزمن، دانشيار علوم اعصاب دانشگاه بروان و يكي از نويسندگان اين تحقيق مي‌گويد: غلظت پايين مواد شيميايي موجود در لوازم آرايش در تحقيق صورت گرفته باعث مرگ يا تغيير شكل اساسي حيوانات نشد، اما انجام برخي آزمايشات عملكردي از نقص عملكرد سيستم عصبي اين حيوانات حكايت دارد.

بچه قورباغه ها در معرض دو غلظت ۱.۵ و ۷.۶ واحد در ميليون (ppm) مواد قرار گرفتند و برخي تغييرات در رفتار و رشد سيستم عصبي و مغزي پايه آنها مشاهده شد.

در يك آزمايش، نور به زير محل مخزن نگهداري بچه قورباغه ها تابيده شد. همانطور كه انتظار مي رفت، قورباغه ها به جاي حركت به سمت منبع نور،‌ در جهت خلاف آن شنا كردند.

در آزمايش بعدي دو گروه بچه قورباغه سالم و تحت تأثير غلظت پايين مواد شيميايي مورد آزمايش القاء تشنج قرار گرفتند. گروه سالم و گروه تحت تأثير مواد با غلظت ۱.۵ واحد در ميليون در برابر تشنج مقاومت نشان دادند، ‌اما گروه بعدي تحت تأثير مواد با غلظت ۷.۶ واحد در ميليون بسرعت دچار تشنج شدند.

در تحليل الكتروفيزيولوژيك بچه قورباغه ها مشخص شد بخشي از مغز كه مسوول پردازش اطلاعات بصري است تحت تأثير اين مواد، مختل مي شود.

آيزنمان معتقد است كه مصرف كنندگان لوازم آرايشي بايد از نتايج اين تحقيق آگاه شوند و دقت بيشتري در خصوص تركيبات لوازم آرايشي به خرج دهند.

محققان معتقدند با توجه به اثراتي كه مواد شيميايي موجود در مواد آرايشي بر رشد سلول هاي عصبي بچه قورباغه ها داشته است، قطعا ميزان صدمات بر مغز انسان بسيار بيشتر خواهد بود.

همچنين توليدكنندگان مواد شيميايي و آزمايشگاه هاي مستقل بايد آزمايش‌هاي بيشتري در خصوص تأثيرات اين مواد بر سيستم عصبي انجام دهند.
