پژوهشگران انگليسي مي‌گويند ارتقاي شغلي مي‌تواند به سلامتي افراد آسيب بزند و وقت کمتري براي رفتن به نزد دکتر براي آنها باقي بگذارد.
به گزارش خبرگزاري فرانسه پژوهشگران اقتصادي و روانشناسي در دانشگاه وارويک در مرکز انگليس نشان دادد که ارتقاي شغلي باعث 10 درصد بيشتر فشار روحي مي‌شود و 20 درصد وقت کمتري براي ديدار با دکتر در هنگام بيماري به جاي مي‌گذارد.
اين گروه اين فرضيه را به آزمون گذاشته بودند که ارتقاي وضعيت شغلي به خاطر افزايش حس ارزش شخصي به سلامتي بهتر مي‌انجامد.

اين پژوهشگران با استفاده از اطلاعات مربوط 1000 مورد ارتقاي شغلي در انگليس در فاصله سال‌‌هاي 1991 تا 2005 دريافتند که هيچ شاهدي از بهبودي سلامت جسمي پس از ارتقاي اين افراد وجود ندارد.
برعکس آنها دريافتند که افرادي که به مقامات بالاتر شغلي مي‌رسند، به طور قابل توجهي تحت استرس بيشتري قرار مي‌گيرند.
به گفته اين پژوهشگران هيچ شاهدي در مورد بهبودي سلامت افرادي که ترفيع شغلي پيدا مي‌کنند، وجود ندارد، به جز اينکه آنها کمتر وقت مي‌کنند در به مطب پزشک عمومي شان بروند.

کاملا موافقم، طبیعتا زمانی که ارتقا شغلی داشته باشی هم کاره فیزیکی و هم کاره فکری آدم و خیلی چیزای دیگه بیشتر میشه و همه اینها خودش یه نوع استرسه و از توان بدنی کم میکنه دیگه.

من اصلا موافق نیستم.تو خود من شخصا ارتقاء شغلی حس خوبی ایجاد میکنه و بهم ثابت میشه منم یکی هستم مثل همه...
