بوتاکس برای بی اختیاری ادراری در بیماران مبتلا به وضعیت های عصبی تایید شد.

تزریق بوتاکس (onabotulinumtoxinA) برای افراد مبتلا به بی اختیاری ادرار (بیش فعالی مثانه) ناشی از صدمه به طناب نخاعی ، بیماری ام اس و سایر شرایط عصبی ، توسط FDA (اداره غذا و دارو) مورد تایید واقع شد.. این نوع بی اختیاری ادرار را گاهی اوقات به عنوان "مثانه نوروژن" و یا "مثانه نوروپاتیک" می گویند .
افراد با برخی از شرایط عصبی می توانند انقباضات مهار نشده مثانه داشته باشند ، و برای ذخیره ادرار در مثانه با مشکل مواجه باشند.
در حال حاضر ، بیماران با این شرایط ممکن است با استفاده از دارو به شل شدن مثانه و نگهداری بیشتر ادرار کمک کنند. ، در حالی که برخی ممکن است مجبور به استفاده از سوند ادراری باشند.
. هنگامی که بوتاکس به داخل مثانه تزریق می شود ، آن منجر به شل شدن مثانه ، بهبود ظرفیت ذخیره سازی آن و کاهش خطر ابتلا به بی اختیاری ادراری می گردد .

بوتاکس با استفاده از سیتوسکوپ به داخل مثانه تزریق می شود.
ابزاری که از طریق پیشابراه عبور کرده، به مثانه می‌رسد (لوله ای که ادرار را از مثانه به خارج از بدن حمل می کند).. گاهی برای اینکار بیهوشی عمومی مورد نیاز است.. درمان در حدود نه ماه موثر است
. قبل از تصویب بوتاکس برای این درمان ، FDA طی دو کارآزمایی بالینی داده هایی حاصل از 691 شرکت کننده (همه آنها تا به حال بی اختیاری ادراری ناشی از بیماری ام اس یا صدمه به نخاع داشتند) را مورد تفحص قرار داد. در هر دو مطالعه ، بیمارانی که بوتاکس دریافت کرده بودند بطور قابل توجهی از بی اختیاری اداری اشان در مقایسه با آنهایی که دارونما گرفته بودند کاسته شد.. بوتاکس در حال حاضر برای درمان خطوط اخم صورت ، میگرن مزمن ، شدید عرق کردن زیر بغل ، بعضی از انواع سفتی و انقباض عضلات ، ناهمگونی چشم ها، و کشش های غیر طبیعی پلک توسط FDA تایید شده است.
عوارض جانبی احتمالی ممکن است شامل احتباس ادرار و عفونت ادراری باشد. بیمارانی که دچار احتباس ادرار می شوند ممکن است برای خالی کردن مثانه خود مجبور به استفاده از سوند باشند.

سلام از دیدن این خبر خیلی خوشحال شدم چون من تواین مورد خیلی مشکل دارم من با وصف اینکه در 2 نوبت برای کنترل ادرارم دارو میخورم اما بازم مشکل دارم...این استرس که جایی میرم دچار مشکل نشم........خوب حالا کجا این کارو انجام میدن؟Huhicon_question
