بیماری MS – مانند نوعی بیماری کشف شده در میمون ها


ساینس دیلی 29ژوئن 2011 -- -- پژوهشگران در دانشگاه علوم بهداشتي اورگون نوعی بیماری رادر میمون ها کشف کرده اند که بسیار شبیه به ام اس در انسان می باشد.
این بیماری میمون ها با ویروس هرپس ( تبخال) مرتبط است و می تواند سرنخ های مهمی راجع به چگونگی ایجاد بیماری ام اس در انسان بدست دهد.
محققان MS به مدت طولانی بر این باوربوده اند که نوعی از ویروس تب خال ممکن است به بیماری MS در افرادی که از لحاظ ژنتیکی مستعد ابتلا به این بیماری اند منجر شود.
یافته های محققان در این خصوص در سالنامه نورولوژی منتشر شده است.
دکتر اسکات وانگ متخصص ژن درمانی و... می گوید :"این یافته ها می تواند تاثیر بسیار زیادی بر درک ما از MS بگذارد و می تواند نقطه عطفی برای توسعه درمان این بیماری ، و یا حتی روشی برای جلوگیری از بروز MS باشد.
قبل از یافته های OHSU (دانشگاه علوم بهداشتي اورگون )، محققان به مطالعه بیماری MS مانند در پستانداران غیر انسان موفق نشده بودند و تنها به مطالعه بیماری که خودشان ایجاد می کردند می پرداختند نه مطالعه طبیعی بیماری.
این بیماری طبیعی کشف شده در OHSU ، می تواند به محققان سرنخ های بسیاری در مورد علل و درمان این بیماری ارائه دهد.
وانگ گفت :"حال ، ما ممکن است قادر به دانستن این باشیم که چه چیزی باعث شروع این بیماری است".
این بیماری ، هرسال در در درصد کمی از نوعی میمونهای ژاپنی در OHSU، مشاهده می شود. ویروس تبخال اثبات بسیار مهمی را می تواند توسط محققان MS در سراسر جهان به عمل آورد. محققان هم اکنون می توانند ویروس مشابه در بیماران مبتلا به MS را مورد تفحص قراردهند.
علت MS ، که در حدود 400000 نفر در ایالات متحده آمریکا را گریبانگیر کرده است،همچنان ناشناخته است.
اما محققان به مدت طولانی بر این باورند که نوعی ویروس ، احتمالا در ایجاد بیماری در افرادی که از نظر ژنتیکی حساسند دخیل باشد.
دکتردنیس بوردت یکی از نویسندگان این مطالعه و مدیر مرکز مولتیپل اسکلروزیس از ایالت اورگان و استاد و رییس دپارتمان نورولوژی OHSU. می گوید:درک اینکه چگونه ویروس هرپس باعث می شود که بیماری MS مانند در میمون ها رخ دهد دانش جدید و مهمی را دست محققان ،جهت برنامه ریزی برای تحقیقات جدید می دهد که می تواند به پیشرفت های قابل توجهی در پیدا کردن و جلوگیری ازاین ویروس که احتمالا به بیماری MS منجرمی شود ، گردد.
از سال 1986 تا 2010 ، 56 نوع میمون از نوعی بوزینه های ژاپنی در مرکز عالی تحقیقات ملی پستانداران دانشگاه علوم تندرسی اورگا،ن خود به خود در اندام عقبی خود، فلج که به همراه علائم دیگرتشدید میشد.
میمون ها دجار بیماری صعب العلاج نو ع انسانی بود ند و نمی توانستند به جرگه میمون های دیگر بپیوندند .
محققان بعد از انجام نکروآسپی در بدن آنها از هشت تای این حیوانات MRI گرفتند
آزمایش های دیگر به محققان فرصت داد که دریابند نوعی بیماری MS مانند در بوزینه های ژاپنی به نام بیماری آنسفالومیلیت شایع و باعث فلج این حیوان می شد.. این بیماری معمولا حیوانات جوان را مبتلامی کرد ، ودر هر دو جنس نر و ماده دیده می شد..
با توجه به گفته ی پژوهشگران. 1 تا 3 درصد از بیش از 300 بوزینه ژاپنی در مرکز پستانداران عالی هر سال ، به این بیماری دچار می گشتند
با این کشف ، محققان MS قادر خواهند بود تا نسبت به تلاش برای پیشگیری یا درمان این ویروس در میمون ها اقدام نمایند ، که همین ممکن است به دانشمندان کمک کند تا به پیشرفت در درمان MS در انسان نایل آیند.

عجیبه ، ام اس دربین مردم ژاپن که شایع نیست.اگه همون علتها باشه باید در حیوان و انسان متفاوت باشه.
