محققان هشدار مي‌دهند: استفاده زياد از اينترنت مي‌تواند شما را افسرده كند.

امروزه اينترنت بخش عظيمي از زندگي ما را پر كرده است و نتايج يك تحقيق جديد نشان داده است: افرادي كه وقت زيادي را در طول روز صرف كار با اينترنت مي‌كنند بيشتر علائم افسردگي را از خود بروز مي‌دهند. اين افراد هم چنين بيش از كساني كه فعاليت‌هاي ديگري را نيز در زندگي خود مي‌گنجانند، احساس تنهايي مي‌كنند.

در اين تحقيق پژوهشگران دريافتند كه برخي از كاربران اينترنتي عادات فراگير پيدا مي‌كنند؛ به طوري كه اتاق‌هاي چت و سايت‌هاي شبكه‌اي اجتماعي براي آنها جاي تعاملات اجتماعي واقعي در زندگي را مي‌گيرند.

دكتر كاتريونا موريسون پژوهشگر دانشگاه ليدز در اين باره خاطرنشان كرد: اينترنت در زندگي مدرن امروز نقش گسترده‌اي ايفا مي‌كند اما مزاياي آن با يك جنبه تاريك تري هم همراه است.

وي تشريح كرد: مطالعات ما نشان مي‌دهد كه استفاده زياد از اينترنت با افسردگي ارتباط دارد اما آنچه هنوز نمي‌دانيم اين است كه كدام يك اول وجود دارد، يعني افراد افسرده به كار زياد با اينترنت روي مي‌آورند يا اين كه كار زياد با اينترنت سبب بروز افسردگي مي‌شود.

در اين پژوهش 1319 فرد 16 تا 15 ساله مورد مطالعه و آزمايش قرار گرفتند.
