مولکولی ترکیبی شبیه ویتامین A پیشرفت بیماری ام.اس را متوقف می کند
بنا به گزارشی بتاریخ 22 می (جمعه گذشته) در بخش اخبار سلامت سایت kvia اعلام شده است که : مولکول ترکیبی یی شبیه ویتامین A ، امید برای درمان به موقع ام.اس را تقویت می کند.
اخیرا در آزمایشهایی که توسط ( کریستین کلمان و همکاران پژوهشگرش ) از انستیتو ملی نروسانس توکیو برروی موشها انجام پذیرفته ، دریافته اند که ماده ترکیبی AM80 از بروز علائم اولیه ام.اس با متوقف ساختن عملکرد سلول TH17T که نوعی سلول ایمنی شناخته شده است و در ایجاد مراحل اولیه ی بیماری ام.اس نقش بسزایی دارد پیشگیری می‌کند.
هرچند طبق یافته های منتشر شده درماه ژوئن، در نشریه ی ژورنال پاتولوژی آمریکا ، AM80 از علایم مزمن پبشگیری نمی کند.
محققان به این نتیجه رسیده اند که این نوع درمان برخلاف دیگر روشهای درمانی شایع در ام.اس سیستم ایمنی را سرکوب نمی کند و درنتبجه بیماررا درمعرض عفونت و بیماری های دیگر قرار نمی دهد و می تواند یک روش مداخله ای در مراحل Th17بیماری باشد و واسطه ی خوبی برای درمان بیماری های خود ایمنی نظیر ام.اس باشد.
مالتیپل اسکلروزیس (ام.اس) سیستم عصبی-مرکزی رامورد حمله قرار می‌دهد و منجر به قطع شدن ارتباط بین مغز ونخاع و باعث بروز علائم بی حسی و بی‌حرکتی اعضاء بدن مثل دست‌ها و پاها و از دست دادن دید چشم‌ها می‌ گردد.
طبق آمار انجمن ملی ام اس حدود 5/2 میلون نفر در جهان از این بیماری رنج می برند.

یک محقق در دانشکده پزشکی آلبانی در تحقیقات حیوانی خود اعلام کرده که راهی برای کاهش علائم بیماری ام اس یافته است. نتایج تحقیق او که در مجله “Journal of clinical investing ation” به چاپ رسیده، نشان داده است که با جدا کردن یک مولکول، از سلول های نوع آ می توان سبب ضعیف شدن واکنش های ایمنی شد. نام این مولکول Bcl11B می باشد و به نظر می رسد نوعی کنترل کننده سیستم ایمنی است.


برداشتن و جدا کردن این مولکول از سیستم ایمنی سبب افزایش ماده ای بنام اینترلوکین 4 (IL4)و در نتیجه افزایش ماده ای به نام اسید رنینوئیک میشود. (متابولیت مشتق شده از ویتامین A ).


اسید رنینوئیک سبب منحرف کردن سلول های ایمنی از سیستم عصبی و هدایت آنها به سمت روده باریک میگردد.

یعنی به طور خلاصه بر اساس مطالعات حیوانی، به نظر می رسد که ویتامین A از طریق این مشتق خود می تواند سبب تضعیف مهاجرت سلولهای لمفاوی به سیستم عصبی شود و در نتیجه شدت علائم بیماری ام اس را کاهش دهد.

در صورتیکه این نتایج در انسان هم صادق باشد، می توان امید داشت که ویتامین A بتواند در تخفیف علائم بیماری کمک کننده باشد. بر این اساس، اولین مطالعه بزرگ انسانی در انستیتوبیومدیکال لوس آنجلس در حال شکل گیری است که هدف آن پاسخ گوئی به این سوال است که آیا سطح خونی ویتامین A می تواند در سیر بیماری ام اس در افراد مبتلا به ام اس نوع عود کننده- بهبود یابنده ( RRMS ) موثر باشد یا خیر.



اگر این رابطه اثبات شود، شاید بتوان از ویتامین A در کنار درمانهای اصلی بیماری سودجست.
