دانشمندان به درک پیشرفته ای از مولتیپل اسکلروزیس (ام اس) دست یافته اند ، که می تواند منجر به بازگرداندن آسیب‌های وارد شده به سلول‌های مغزی و درمان های جدید برای بیماری ام اس گردد.
افراد مبتلا به ام اس تجربه از دست دادن میلین را دارند (لایه ای از چربی ها و پروتئین ها که عصب‌های اطراف مغز و ستون فقرات را فرا گرفته و موجب محافظت از سلولهای عصبی در مغز می شود. )
با وارد شدن آسیب به این غلاف ، فیبرهای عصبی که پیامها را از مغز به سایر نقاط بدن انتقال می دهد آسیب دیده و باعث علائم ام اس می شود.
در حال حاضر ، آزمایش بر روی حیوانات نشان داده است که امکان دارد بتوان با فعال کردن سلول های بنیادی مغزاین آسیب را باز گرداند.
محققان دریافته اند که ، با هدف قرار دادن یک مولکول بنام RXR - گاما -- که به نظر می رسد به ترمیم میلین دست می یابند وبدینوسیله آنها قادر به تحریک سلولهای بنیادی در مغز برای بازسازی میلین خواهند بود.
پروفسور رابین فرانکلین ، مدیر انجمن مرکزی ام اس در کمبریج دراین باره ، توضیح داد : "درمانهایی که آسیب را از بین ببرند و میلین را احیا کنند حلقه گم شده در درمان مولتیپل اسکلروزیس هستند."
در این مطالعه به این مفهوم می رسیم که سلول های بنیادی خودمغز می تواند مشو قی برای انجام این احیا باشد ، و همین امکان ،راه را برای تولید دارویی جدید برای احیاو بازسازی میلین و درمان این بیماری ویرانگرباز می کند
این مطالعه ، که محققان دانشگاه ادینبورگ را هم سرگرم خود کرده است ، در نشریه عصب‌شناسی منتشر شده است.
سیمون گیلسپای ، مدیر اجرایی انجمن ام اس ،این پژوهش را به عنوان "یکی از مهیج ترین تحولات در سال های اخیر" توصیف کرد. وی افزود :
شاید این موضوع یکی از بهترین خبرهایی است که بیماران در طول سال‌های اخیر شنیده‌اندو می‌تواند انقلابی عظیم در درمان این بیماری به وجود آورد.
. اکنون امیدواریم که تیم تحقیقاتی، این مطالعات بالینی را در انسان گسترش دهد ، و مشخص کند دارو یی که RXR - گاما را بخواهد هدف قرار دهد چه اندازه بی خطر و موثر در افراد مبتلابه ام اس خواهد بود .

ممنون از خانم دنیزicon_question بچه ها من هم دیروز داشتم زیر نویس بی بی سی فارسی را تماشا میکردم که نوشته بود دانشمندان انگلیسی موفق شدند درمان ام اس را بهبود ببخشند یه چیزی تو این مایه ها حالا چطوری اینجاشو نمی دونم ولی به نظرم خیلی امیدوارکننده بود برای بیماران ام اسی

دقیقا منم دیروز توی روزنامه آسیا خوندم که از تزریق نوعی مسکن یه دارویی درست کردند که در مورد موشهای فلج کاملا موفق عمل کرده

دانشمندان روش جدیدی برای بازگرداندن آسیب‌های وارد شده به سلول‌های مغزی پیدا کرده‌اند و به این ترتیب هزاران بیمار مبتلا به ام‌اس می‌توانند به درمان خود امیدوارتر شوند.محققان انگلیسی توانستند با استفاده از سلو‌ل‌های بنیادی روند آسیب‌های مغزی را معکوس کنند که این موضوع در نهایت می‌تواند به آن‌ها امکان ساخت دارویی را دهد که علائم ام‌اس را بهبود می‌بخشد.
تقریبا 100 هزار نفر در کشور انگلستان به ام‌اس مبتلا هستند. این بیماری که هم‌اکنون غیر قابل درمان است باعث می‌شود قابلیت‌های حرکتی انسان کاهش پیدا کرده، در بینایی او مشکل ایجاد شود و دچار خستگی و دردهای مزمن شود.
ام‌اس به مرور زمان بدتر می‌شود تا این که در نهایت فرد مبتلا را روی ویلچر می‌نشاند.
این بیماری با وارد کردن آسیب به myelin ایجاد می‌شود. این ماده تمام عصب‌های اطراف مغز و ستون فقرات را فرا می‌گیرد. با وارد شدن آسیب به این ماده مسیر انتقال پیام در بدن دچار مشکل می‌شود و مغز نمی‌تواند با دیگر اعضای بدن ارتباط برقرار کند.
زنان با احتمال دو برابر بیش‌تر نسبت به مردان دچار ام‌اس می‌شوند. امید به زندگی در یک پنجم بیماران مبتلا به ام‌اس کاهش پیدا می‌کند چرا که احتمال مرگ آن‌ها در اثر عفونت یا لخته شدن خون در ریه‌ها افزایش پیدا می‌کند.
اما اکنون دانشمندان دانشگاه کمبریج و ادینبرگ روش جدیدی را کشف کردند تا با کمک سلول‌های بنیادی بتوانند آسیب‌های وارد شده به Myelin را درمان کنند. آن‌ها این یافته خود را در نشریه عصب‌شناسی به چاپ رساندند که می‌تواند در آینده به ساخت داروهای جدید بینجامد.
سیمون گیلسپای از جامعه ام‌اس در این باره گفت: شاید این موضوع یکی از بهترین خبرهایی است که مبتلایان به این بیماری در طول سال‌های اخیر شنیده‌اند. این کشف جدید می‌تواند انقلابی در درمان این بیماری به وجود بیاورد.

گفتن این درمان در حد یک ازمایش بوده.حدود 10 سال طول میکشه تا نتیجه بگیرن.مثلا قبل بازم سر کار هستیم

نفرت دارم از این که تو هر خبری که راجع به ام اس میدن، هی میگن بیماری به میلین حمله میکنه و آخرش فرد رو ویلچیری میکنه! angry3angry3

یه پیشنهاد هم شده بود که گفته بودن تو پست هاتون سعی کنید اون قسمتی که راجع به تعریف ام اس هست رو حذف کنید
