داروی "Tamoxifen"می تواند سبب ترمیم ضایعات ام اس شود
بارها بارها شما دوستان مبتلا به ام اس از ما پرسیده اید " آیا ضایعات ام اس ترمیم میشوند؟" و اینکه آیا این " لکه های سفید" موجود در MRI ،آیا روزی پاک خواهند شد یا خیر، موضوعی است که ذهن شما عزیزان را به خود مشغول کرده است. در حال حاضر پاسخ ما این است که " اگر ضایعات خیلی شدید نباشند، سیستم عصبی ممکن است آنها را ترمیم کند و در غیر اینصورت ممکن است همواره باقی بمانند. " باید بدانید که داروهائی که در حال حاضر برای کنترول بیماری ام اس استفاده می کنیم هیچکدام نقش اثبات شده ای در ترمیم ضایعات قبلی ندارند و فقط می توانند مانع از ایجاد ضایعات جدید شوند ولی از آنجا که علم حد و مرزی نمیشناسد ، مطالعات زیادی انجام شده و یا در حال انجام است که راهی پیدا کنند تا بتوان با کمک آنها ، ضایعات قدیمی یا به قول شما دوستان " لکه های موجود" در مغز و نخاع را هم ترمیم کرد و برای همیشه آنها را از سیستم عصبی پاک کرد . یکی از تحقیقاتی که با این هدف شروع و اخیرا نتایج آن اعلام شده مطالعه مورد بحث ماست که توسط محققین انگلیسی انجام شده است.
در تحقیق فوق اثر 6 دارو بر ترمیم ضایعات ام اس در محیط های کشت آزمایشگاه و نیز در بدن حیوانات (موش) بررسی شد و مشاهده گردید که داروی "Tamoxifen" داروئی که در سرطان های پستان بطور وسیعی استفاده شده و میشود – قادر است ، ترمیم میلین را در سیستم عصبی تحریک کند.
ماجرا از این قرار است که مشاهده شد ، در سلولهای بنیادی موجود در سیستم عصبی گیرنده های استروژنی وجود دارد.سلول های بنیادی در هرکجا که باشند قادرند در محیط مناسب به انواع سلول های تخصص یافته همان سیستم تبدیل شوند مثلا سلول های بنیادی موجود در سیستم عصبی اگر در محیط مناسب قرار گیرند می توانند به سلول های تخصص یافته ای به نام " اولیگو دندروسیت" تبدیل شوند. این سلول های متخصص ، توانائی ساختن میلین را دارند و می دانیم که ماده میلین ( ماده اصلی غلاف رشته های عصبی) یکی از اهداف اصلی بیماری ام اس است.
در واقع به نظر می رسد داروی " Tamoxifen" گیرنده های استروژنی (هورمون زنانه) را در سطح سلول های بنیادی تحریک میکند و سبب تبدیل آنها به سلول های " اولیگودندروسیت" می شود و این سلول میلین می سازد و بدین گونه قادر است رد پای ام اس را در سیستم عصبی پاک کند.
اگرچه این تحقیق هنوز در مراحل بسیار ابتدائی است اما با توجه به اینکه تجربه دنیا در مصرف این دارو زیاد است و به نظر می رسد داروی بی خطری است ، در صورت تائید نتایج این مطالعه در تحقیقات بعدی ، می توان امیدوار بود که با مصرف یک داروی بی خطر بتوانیم سیستم عصبی مبتلایان ام اس را از وجود این " لکه های سفید" پاک کنیم .

اگر این خبر درست باشه چیزی تا درمان قطعی ام اس نمونده
چون وقتی تونستن ضایعات رو از بین ببرن گام خیلی مهمی برادشته اند.
