درباره داروی Ibudilast بیشتر بدانیم
داروی ایبودی لاست - Ibudilast – از داروهایی است که در چند سال اخیر توجه محققین را به خود جلب کرده، چراکه به نظر می رسد اثر حفاظت کننده برای سلول های عصبی دارد. شواهدی وجود دارد که این دارو ممکن است در فرم های پیشرونده اولیه اثرات مثبتی داشته باشد. این دارو که به شکل قرص خوراکی مصرف میشود، در حال حاضر در فاز II تحقیقات بالینی است و قرار است در سال 2017 میلادی نتایج آن اعلام شود. این مطالعه بر روی 250 فرد مبتلا به ام اس نوع پیشرونده انجام میشود و برای انجام آن 28 مرکز علمی مختلف در سراسر دنیا دست بکار شده اند.
داروی ایبودی لاست مهار کننده آنزیم فسفودیاستراز است و از این طریق نقش حفاظتی برای نسج مغز بازی میکند. این دارو در حال حاضر در بازار دارویی کره و ژاپن وجود دارد و برای درمان آسم و علائم ناشی از سکته های مغزی مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد.
با توجه به اینکه در حال حاضر داروی قطعی برای فرم های پیشرونده وجود ندارد، و اگرچه شواهد محکمی هم برای مؤثر بودن ایبودی لاست وجود ندارد اما می توان به عنوان یک روزنه امید به آن نگاه کرد. به همین دلایل هم سازمان غذا و داروی امریکا قرار است پس از ارائه نتایج مطالعه فاز III ایبودی لاست به این سازمان، کار بررسی و مطالعه آن را سریعتر به انجام رساند.( Fast Tract )

همانطور که قبلا گفته شده بود داروی ایبودیلست دارویی منحصر به فردی است که اثرات ضدالتهابی و انتی اکسیدانی دارد.

اولین نتابج مطالعه این دارو امروز در کنگره ام اس مشترک اروپا و امریکا ارایه شد:

ایبودیلست توانسته بود در ام اس پیشرونده اولیه و ثانویه تا حدود 50% درصد جلوی اسیب سلولی را بگیرد و مانع کوچک شدن مغز و نخاع شود.

این موفقیت شاید بالاترین میزان موفقیت دارویی در ام اس پیشرونده بوده است .

بررسی این دارو همچنان ادامه دارو و به نظر می رسد بتواند نقش موثری در درمان ام اس پیشرونده داشته باشد.
