دبیر کنگره بین المللی ام.اس در مشهد گفت: هم اکنون استان های اصفهان، تهران و قم بیشترین شیوع بیماری ام.اس را در کشور به خود اختصاص داده اند.
به گزارش جماران به نقل از ایرنا، بیماری ام .اس (Multiple sclerosis) یک بیماری ناتوان کننده است که مغز و نخاع را تحت تاثیر قرارمی دهد و باعث از دست دادن کنترل، دید، تعادل و حواس می شود.
دکتر محسن حکاک، شنبه در جمع خبرنگاران افزود: شیوع ابتلا به بیماری ام.اس در کشور طی دو دهه گذشته رشد فزاینده ای داشته است.
مدیر گروه مغز و اعصاب بیمارستان رضوی مشهد ادامه داد: این در حالی است که در گذشته ایران با شیوع پنج بیمار در صد هزار نفر جمعیت، جزو مناطق کم خطر از نظر ابتلا به بیماری ام.اس در جهان شناخته شده بود.
وی میانگین فعلی شیوع بیماری ام.اس در ایران را 50 بیمار در صد هزار نفر جمعیت عنوان کرد و افزود: شیوع این بیماری در اصفهان 90 بیمار و در تهران 55 بیمار در صد هزار نفر جمعیت گزارش شده است.
حکاک گفت: بیماری ام.اس در سنین جوانی بروز می یابد به طوریکه هم اکنون 90 درصد مبتلایان به ام.اس بین 20 تا 50 سال سن دارند و 10 درصد این بیماران در سنین کمتر از 20 سال و یا بیش از 50 سال هستند.
وی با بیان اینکه شیوع ام.اس در زنان ایرانی سه برابر مردان است افزود: شیوع این بیماری در بین زنان ایران بیش از میانگین جهانی است به طوریکه این بیماری در بین زنان سایر کشورها شیوع دو برابری نسبت به مردان دارد.
وی کمبود ویتامین دی را یکی از فرضیه های مطرح در زمینه ابتلای بیشتر زنان ایران به بیماری ام.اس ذکر کرد و گفت: کمبود این ویتامین که آفتاب در ایجاد آن نقش بسزایی دارد، یکی از علل احتمالی بیماری ام.اس شناخته شده است.
حکاک اظهار کرد: بر اساس تحقیقات جهانی افرادی که نزدیک خط استوا زندگی می کنند، به دلیل نزدیک بودن به آفتاب کمتر به ام.اس مبتلا می شوند، درحالی که هر چه از استوا فاصله بگیریم ابتلا به این بیماری افزایش می یابد.
وی با بیان اینکه علل ابتلا به ام.اس همچنان ناشناخته است گفت: کمبود ویتامین دی، نقش فاکتورهای محیطی در افرادی که استعداد ژنتیکی دارند، مواد سمی صنعتی و ابتلا به برخی از ویروس ها از جمله دلایل احتمالی ابتلا به این بیماری هستند.
این متخصص مغز و اعصاب، ام.اس را بیماری هزار چهره دانست و افزود: علائم حسی و بینایی مهم ترین علام این بیماری هستند که با خواب رفتگی در اندام ها، مور مور شدن دست ها، بی حسی اندامها، کاهش بینایی، کاهش دید و اختلال در دید رنگی تظاهر می یابند.
وی علائم حرکتی، ضعف حرکتی، اختلال در راه رفتن، سرگیجه، اختلالات ادراری، کاهش حافظه و افسردگی را از دیگر علائم بیماری ام.اس عنوان کرد.
وی ادامه داد: ام.اس معالجه قطعی ندارد و درمان های رایج در راستای توقف سیر پیشرونده بیماری و کنترل و تسکین علائم بیماری انجام می شود.
به گفته وی 75 درصد بیماران مبتلا به ام.اس بعد از 15 سال همچنان زندگی شخصی و مستقل خود را حفظ می کنند.
کنگره بین المللی بیماری ام.اس با حضور متخصصان داخل و خارج کشور به همت بیمارستان فوق تخصصی رضوی مشهد متعلق به آستان قدس رضوی طی روزهای 27 تا 29 شهریور ماه امسال برگزار می شود.
در بیماری ام. اس اعصاب مغز و نخاع توسط سیستم ایمنی بدن آسیب می بینند که به این اختلال بیماری خودایمنی می گویند.
بیماری های خود ایمنی بیماری هایی هستند که در آنها سیستم ایمنی بدن که وظیفه آنها حفاظت از بدن و نابودکردن آسیب رسان های خارجی همچون باکتری هاست، به اشتباه شروع به حمله به بافت های بدن می کنند.
در بیماری ام اس، سیستم ایمنی بدن شروع به حمله به مغز و نخاع می کند و باعث فلج شدن و از کارافتادگی آنها می شود.
