سه سال بعد از این که شمار اندکی از افراد مبتلا به به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس به دوز بالای داروهای سرکوب کننده ایمنی تیمار شدند و سپس مورد پیوند سلول های بنیادی خون ساز خودشان قرار گرفتند، بیشتر آن ها تقریبا مورد بهبودی واقع شدند و فعالیت های نورولوژیک آن ها نیز بهبود واقع شد.

به گزارش بنیان به نقل ازmedicalxpress، مولتیپل اسکلروزیس یک بیماری تحلیل برنده است که اغلب بیماران که درمان های تعدیل کننده بیماری را دریافت کردند نشانه های از بهبود را نشان دادند. پیوند سلول های بنیادی خون ساز اوتولوگ در بیماران مبتلا به مولتیپل اسکلروزیس با هدف برداشتن سلول های ایمنی بیماری زا و رست کردن سیستم ایمنی صورت گرفته است. پیوند سلول های بنیادی خون ساز برای مولتیپل اسکلروزیس عود کننده- بهبود یابنده موثر بودن ترکیب داروهای سرکوب کننده ایمنی با دوز بالا و پیوند سلول های بنیادی(HDIT/HCT) را برای مورد ارزیابی قرار می دهد. نتایج مطالعه نشان می دهد که از 24 بیماری که HDIT/HCTرا دریافت کردند، میانگین نرخ بقا ظرف مدت سه سال74.8% بود که نشانی از بهبودی بدون هرگونه علایم بیماری مانند از دست دادن عملکردهای نورولوژیک و یا عود بالینی بود. محققین به این نکته اشاره دارند که هیچ گونه سمیت و عوارض جانبی در مورد HDIT/HCT مشاهده نشد و در عوض در ناتوانی های نورولوژیک، کیفیت زندگی و عملکرد فرد بهبود زیادی حاصل شد. در این مطالعه، بهبودی القا شده بوسیله HDIT/HCT در اغلب بیماران مشاهده شد. بنابراین ممکن است این فاکتور گزینه درمانی بالقوه ای برای بیماران مبتلا به MS باشد که روش های ایمنی درمانی مرسوم در مورد آن ها جوابگو نبوده است. زیر نظر گرفتن طولانی مدت بیماران بعد از درمان نشان داد که پاسخ های آن ها به درمان بادوام بوده است.

درمان بیماران ام‌اس با پیوند سلولی

دانشمندان با همکاری کالج پزشکی بیلور در آمریکا، در تحقیقی جدید نشان داده‌اند اعمال میزان بالای نوعی درمان سرکوب دستگاه ایمنی با «پیوند سلول‌های بنیادی خونساز اتولوگ» یا HDIT/HCT (سلول‌هایی که از خود فرد گرفته‌ شده‌اند)به بیماران مبتلا به «اسکلروز چندگانه عودکننده-فروکش‌کننده» (RRMS)، موجب فروکش‌کردن مداوم بیماری و بهبود عملکرد عصبی آن‌ها می‌شود.

به گزارش سرویس پژوهشی ایسنا، بر اساس نتایج بررسی‌های انجام‌شده، از 24 بیماری که این نوع درمان را دریافت کردند، میزان بقای عاری از حادثه آن‌ها ظرف سه سال 78.4 درصد بود. این نوع بقا، به عنوان بقای بدون مرگ یا بیماری ناشی از از دست‌دادن عملکرد عصبی، عودکردن بالینی بیماری یا زخم‌های مشاهده‌شده در تصویربرداری تعریف می‌شود.

این در حالی بود که میزان بقای عاری از پیشرفت بیماری یا بقای عاری از عودکردن بالینی به ترییب 90.9 و 86.3 درصد ظرف سه سال بودند.

ام‌اس، بیماری ناتوان‌کننده‌ای است و اکثر بیماران مبتلا به RRMS که چنین درمان‌های اصلاح‌کننده این بیماری را دریافت کردند، بهبودی در بیماری‌شان را تجربه کردند. در این تحقیق، پیوند سلول‌های خونساز اتولوگ (استفاده از سلول‌های خود بیمار) در بیماران مبتلا با هدف حذف سلول‌های ایمنی عامل بیماری و تنظیم‌مجدد سیستم ایمنی بررسی شد.

تیم علمی کارآیی مداخله زودهنگام با رویکرد HDIT/HCT در بیماران مبتلا به RRMS و بهبود وضع بیماران را مطالعه کرد.
نویسندگان این مقاله اعلام کردند با اعمال رویکرد مزبور، ارتقا در ناتوانی عصبی، کیفیت زندگی و همچنین وضعیت عملکردی بیماران مشاهده شد.

خدا رو شکر که سرعت پیشرفت علم در مقابله با اینجور بیماریها خیلی خوبه،دکتر مقدسی یه ماه پیش بهم گفت که تا سه سال دیگه تکلیف این بیماری از جهت کنترل کامل یا همون متوقف شدن مشخص میشه، امیدوارم بزودی مرکز پیوند سلولی در ایران آغاز بکار کنه چون شنیدم که تو موسسه رویان دارن روش کار میکنن
