توهم ابتلابه بیماری ام اس مراجعه به پزشکان را افزایش می دهد

دبیر اجرایی نهمین کنگره ام اس درباره ضرورت اطلاع رسانی بیشتر درباره بیماری ام اس گفت: متاسفانه آمار مبتلایان به ام اس روز به روز در حال افزایش بوده و لازم است اطلاع رسانی های لازم در این خصوص صورت بپذیرد، در غیر این صورت نگرانی مردم باعث می شود با مشاهده کوچک ترین علامتی در خود، نزد متخصص رفته و در نتیجه سیر مراجعات غیر ضروری به مطب های پزشکان افزایش یابد.
به گزارش روابط عمومی انجمن ام اس ایران، دکتر حسین کرمانپور با بیان این که امروز ابتلابه بیماری ام اس با توجه به وجود امکانات درمانی پیشرفته، چندان نگران کننده نیست، اظهار کرد: بخش عمده درمان بیماری به دست خود بیمار است و می توان با امیدبخشی و انجام یک کار تیمی مناسب با بیماری مقابله کرد.
کرمانپور درباره مسائل و مشکلات مبتلایان به ام اس اظهار داشت: تامین دارو، عمده ترین مشکل بیماران ام اس است، البته هزینه درمان دارویی بسته به نوع و شدت درگیری تفاوت می کند.
وی با بیان این که مشکل دیگر بیماران ام اس این است که از لحاظ روحی بشدت آسیب پذیر می شوند، گفت: اغلب مبتلایان افراد سالم و توانمندی بوده اند و ضعف و ناتوانی ناشی از بیماری باعث می شود در جمع دوستان، محیط کار و محل تحصیل دچار مشکل شوند.
دبیر اجرایی نهمین کنگره ام اس ادامه داد: این امکان وجود دارد که تعدادی از این افراد گوشه نشین یا به دلیل ضعف عضلانی در راه رفتن دچار مشکل شوند. به همین خاطر مایل نیستند اطرافیان از بیماری آنها آگاه شوند. با اطلاع رسانی کافی می توان به تغییر نگرش درخصوص این بیماری کمک کرد.
کرمانپور درخصوص انتشار خبر مبنی بر ابتلای یک فرد به ام اس در هر خانواده تا 10 سال آینده گفت: این یک برداشت اشتباه بوده است. در علم پزشکی منظور از خانواده، عبارت فامیلی یا بستگان ژنتیکی فرد است. این افراد شامل پدر و مادر، پدر و مادر بزرگ مادری و پدری و برادران، خواهران، دایی، خاله، عمو و عمه فرد می شود. بنابراین با این تعریف تا 10سال آینده در هر فامیلی انتظار یک مبتلابه ام اس را خواهیم داشت.
کرمانپور تازه های تشخیص، درمان و کنترل ام اس، ژنتیک در ام اس، ایمونولوژی در ام اس، پاتوفیزیولوژی، بیولوژی و علوم پایه پزشکی در ام اس، تغذیه در ام اس، توانبخشی و ام اس، حاملگی در ام اس، نورسایکولوژی و ام اس، نوروافتالمولوژی در بیماری ام اس، اپیدمیولوژی، طب مکمل، پرستاری در ام اس و کاربرد و عوارض دارویی را از جمله محورهای برگزاری نهمین کنگره ام اس توسط متخصصان و گروه های مختلف جامعه پزشکی در روزهای 11 و 12 آبان ماه سال جاری دانست و یادآور شد: آخرین مهلت برای ارسال مقالات، پانزدهم شهریور ماه سال جاری است.
