رئیس انجمن ام اس اصفهان گفت: برای خدمات‌رسانی بهتر و منسجم‌تر به بیماران نیاز است تا شورای عالی انجمن ام اس تاسیس شود.

به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس از شهرستان ساری، مسعود اعتمادی‌فر پیش از ظهر امروز در نخستین همایش سراسری انجمن‌های ام اس در هتل نوید ساری، با اشاره به اهداف اصلی انجمن‌های مردم‌نهاد و خیریه که حمایت از محرومان و نیازمندان است، اظهار داشت: شیوع بیماری ام‌ اس در سال‌های اخیر افزایش پیدا کرده و اکنون به عنوان یک معضل اجتماعی برای جامعه تلقی می‌شود.

وی افزود: حدود 20 سال پیش در ایران ابتلا به بیماری ام اس کمتر بود به طوری که کمتر از پنج نفر در 100 هزار نفر به این بیماری مبتلا بودند، اما رشد تدریجی که این بیماری در هر سال داشته، عاملی شده است تا در بعضی از مناطق مثل اصفهان و تهران بیشتر از 100 در هزار نفر، بیمار ام اس داشته باشیم.

اعتمادی‌فر تصریح‌کرد: در سال‌های نخست به دلیل شناخت ناکافی از بیماری، مسئولان سلامت نتواستند برنامه‌ریزی درستی برای بیماران ارائه دهند و همین مسئله موجب افزایش تعداد بیماران شده و هزینه‌های زیادی برای خود بیماران و نظام سلامت کشور در پی داشته است.

رئیس انجمن ام اس اصفهان به نقش انجمن ام اس در معرفی بیماری و اهدافی که این انجمن دارد، اشاره کرد، گفت: بیماران با مشکلات اقتصادی و روحی و روانی شدیدی مواجهه هستند و انجمن ام اس برای کاهش این مشکلات تلاش‌های زیادی انجام داده است.

اعتمادی‌فر تعداد بیماران ام اس در اصفهان را 6 هزار نفر اعلام کرد و افزود: با آنکه شیوع بیماری رو به افزایش است و یک دوم هزینه کشور برای سلامت بیماران اختصاص می‌یابد اما نظام سلامت کشور هنوز برنامه درستی در این بخش ندارد.

این مسئول با تاکید بر تعامل هرچه بیشتر انجمن‌ها با نظام سلامت کشور و دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی، گفت: در برخی از شهرستان‌ها تعامل دانشگاه علوم پزشکی با انجمن بسیار کم است.

اعتمادی‌فر با اشاره به مشکلات جسمی ـ حرکتی بیماران، خواستار اختصاص مراکز خاص بازتوانی برای بیماران ام اس شد.

وی افزود: اگر به بحث آب‌درمانی بیماران توجه می‌شد، اکنون بسیاری از بیماران ما با انبوهی از مشکلات مواجه نبودند.

رئیس انجمن ام اس اصفهان خاطرنشان ‌کرد: باید رؤسای دانشگاه‌های علوم‌ پزشکی و مسئولان به این باور برسند که رسیدگی به بیماری ام اس از اولویت‌های نظام سلامت است.

وی ادامه داد: برای بازتوانی بیماران می‌توان از ظرفیت و کمک سازمان‌هایی مانند بهزیستی، هلال‌احمر و کمیته امداد امام خمینی استفاده کرد، این سازمان‌ها می‌توانند در زمینه‌های مختلف بازوی توانمند انجمن باشند.

اعتمادی‌فر اظهار داشت: برای خدمات‌رسانی بهتر و منسجم‌تر به بیماران نیاز است تا شورای عالی انجمن ام اس تأسیس شود.
