عصاره شاهدانه سفتی عضله بیماران "ام اس" را رفع می‌کند


سلامت نیوز : متخصصان دریافتند عصاره شاهدانه می‌تواند در رفع سفتی عضله که در بیماران مبتلا به "مالتیپل اسکلروزیس" موسوم به "ام اس" به طور دردناک بروز می‌کند، موثر واقع شود.

به گزارش سلامت نیوز به نقل از ایسنا ، 90 درصد بیماران مبتلا به ام اس، طی دوره بیماری خود نوعی سفتی عضله دردناک را تجربه می‌کنند که این امر قوه تحرک آنان را کاهش داده و کیفیت خواب و انجام کارهای روزانه این بیماران را نیز تحت تاثیر قرار می‌دهد. به همین دلیل، محققان طی مطالعه‌ای 12 هفته‌ای بر بیماران مبتلا به "ام اس"، تاثیر عصاره شاهدانه را در بهبود سفتی عضله مورد بررسی قرار دادند.

به منظور انجام این تحقیق، از قرص‌های 2.5 میلی گرمی تا 25 میلی گرمی عصاره شاهدانه موسوم به تتراهیدروکانابینول و همچنین دارونما استفاده شد.

پژوهشگران طی این مطالعه دریافتند سفتی عضله در افرادی که از عصاره شاهدانه استفاده می‌کردند دو برابر بیش از گروهی که از دارونما استفاده می‌کردند، تسکین یافته بود.

میزان عوارض جانبی عصاره شاهدانه طی دو هفته اول مصرف، بسیار بالا گزارش شد. اختلالات سیستم عصبی، مشکلات شکمی شایع‌ترین عوارض جانبی عنوان شده است اما بنابراین گزارش، این عوارض شدید و جدی نبوده است.

محققان چنین نتیجه گرفته‌اند که عصاره شاهدانه می‌تواند به عنوان درمانی مفید برای مشکلات عضلانی و تسکین موثر دردهای مرتبط با بیماری "ام اس" به ویژه برای افرادی که درد زیادی را متحمل می‌شوند، در نظر گرفته شود.
