دیسفاژی به خاطر کاهش سطح استیل کولین (پیام رسان عصبی) هم رخ می دهد. ضعف حافظه کوتاه مدت، خستگی ذهنی و جسمی، یبوست، تنبلی و تاخیر در تخلیه معده، خشکی چشم، سرگیجه و ضعف و کاهش فشار خون در هنگام ایستادن، التهاب و قرمزی پوست صورت، تندتپشی و گشادشدن مردمک، از دیگر علایم کمبود استیل کولین است.

اين یکیو دیگه نشنیده بودم!!!!!

کاهش سطح استیل کولین، لزوماَ به دلیل ام اس نیست.
مصرف داروها (مثل آنتی‌کولینرژیک، آنتی‌هیستامین، آنتی‌بیوتیک، ضد اسید معده، ضد اسپاسم، ضد فشار خون، ضد افسردگی و ...)، رژیم غذایی گیاهی و کم چربی، سموم محیطی و ... از علل اصلی کمبود استیل کولین در بدن می باشد.
