دانشمندان هندی اعلام کردند ماده‌ای در زعفران ایرانی وجود دارد که به درمان بیماری ام اس کمک می‌کند.

به گزارش برنا، دانشمندان هندی موفق به کشف ماده‌ای در زعفران شده‌‎اند که در درمان بیماریها، بویژه درمان بیماری ام اس و تصلب شرایین موثر است.

ماده درمانگر زعفران که کروسین نام دارد در حفاظت از سلولهای مغزی نقش دارد و مانع آسیب به سلولهای مغزی می‌شود که چربی تولید می کنند.

چربی تولیدی در سلولهای مغز، همانند عایق و روکش در اطراف اعصاب مغز عمل می کند. در بیماری ام اس، به دلیل تورم سلولهای مغزی این عایق محافظتی از بین می رود.

بر‌ اساس یافته‌های محققان، مصرف زعفران که حاوی کروسین است، می‌تواند تورم و فشار سلولی را که منجر به از بین رفتن عایق و تصلب شرائین در مغز می‌شود را تا حد زیادی کاهش دهد.

ولی اینجور مقاله ها تا زمانی که در کتابهای پزشکی نیان جنبه ی کاملا علمی پیدا نمیکنن و قابل اتکا نیستن چون به تایید هیچ دانشگاهی و یا نهاد علمی نرسیدن.
